How we can prevent low blood Pressure:



Low Blood Pressure:

                           When blood pressure is lower than 90mm for systolic or 60-millimeter mercury for diastolic is known as low Blood pressure. Enough blood is not supplied to the whole body in case of low blood pressure.

Prevention from Low Blood Pressure:

  •                           Low Blood pressure or hypotension is very harmful to our lives. But we can prevent low blood pressure by various kinds of methods and remedies.  We can prevent and cure low Blood Pressure by drinking more glass of water.  Proper exercise prevents low blood pressure. 
  • We should give complete attention on our body direction for example we should not sit our legs crossed.  We should avoid standing up or sitting up immediately because when we change our direction our heart did not pump blood properly to the body. We should eat a little bit of food several times a day because it prevents low blood pressure.
  •  Coffee prevents low blood pressure. If you have the problem of low blood pressure then mostly physicians recommend one cup of coffee with breakfast. When we avoid alcohol we can prevent from hypotension or low Blood pressure. Because Alcohol is harmful for health and creates dehydration.
  • When blood pressure is low then we should drink more fluids. Especially during hot weather, we should drink fluids because Drinks prevents dehydration and low blood pressure or hypotension. When we are ill because of viral illness like flu then we should drink more water because viral illness can leads to low blood pressure then water normalizes the blood pressure.
  • When we use more amount of salt in our daily meal then we can prevent low blood pressure. But we should remember that more amount of salt is only good for patients of low blood pressure. Sea salt and table salt both salts prevents low blood pressure. We can take sugar in case of low blood pressure.  When enough thyroid hormone is not produced then it can disturb our blood pressure.
  • Vitamin B12 has the ability to prevent low blood pressure and produce Red Blood Cells (RBC).  Eggs and fish prevents low blood pressure because these foods consist of vitamin B12. Vitamin B9 or Folate is very important and present in asparagus, legumes and lentils. The proper amount of Vitamin B9 prevents low blood pressure. So we can say that both Vitamin B9 and B12 is very important for curing patient of low blood pressure. Yogurt and almonds are rich with nutrients and help in normalizing Blood pressure.
  •  Pineapple, Papaya raw honey are enzymes rich food and improves digestion and normalize blood pressure. Potatoes, peanuts, popcorn, cottage, cheese, tuna rice, soy sauce, pretzels chips and pasta are high in sodium so they can prevent from low Blood Pressure or hypotension. Spinach consists of a lot of nutrients like magnesium and potassium that are helping hand in lowering blood pressure. 
  • We can prevent low blood pressure or hypotension by using olive oil and pickled items. Skim Milk also helps in normalizing blood pressure because skim milk is a rich source of nutrients and comprises of calcium and vitamin D.
  •  Dairy products prevent low Blood pressure. Butter margarine, fast food and fried foods can prevent low Blood Pressure. Pizza sandwiches energy drinks seafood and frozen fish are good for low blood pressure because these foods raise the blood pressure.
  • We should add beans in our daily diet because beans also prevent low BP. Rosemary is the best for the improvement of blood circulation as well as low blood pressure. 
  • Raisins prevent low blood pressure effectively and naturally. Basil naturally treats hypotension and the very important thing it maintains the balance of mind. Juice of Basil leaves with honey is useful and prevents low blood pressure. Tea of licorice powdered is a very good remedy for the maintenance of blood circulation. Deli meat is also useful for patients of hypotension.
  •    Lemon juice is beneficial and prevents low blood pressure. Beans and oranges prevent low blood pressure. Carrot juice with two teaspoons of honey is also best and prevents low Blood Pressure. Juice of beetroot is also good for the maintenance of low blood pressure.
  • Proper and good Sleep and the proper time for eating diet can prevent low blood pressure.  Stop smoking and less stress are the best remedies for low Blood pressure. We should prevent patients from heavy lifting and hot showers. 
  • We should eat lesser and take a rest after every meal. When we eat a large number of meals then lot of our energy destroys in the digestion process.
  •  On the other hand, a smaller amount of meal is easy for both blood circulation and the process of digestion.   
  • Before eating we should stop taking drugs for lowering Blood pressure. At night time we should elevate our head of bed. Proper checkups and guidelines of physicians help low blood pressure patients.
  •  We should avoid Outdoor exercise in so many hot weathers because this is the main cause of dehydration and leads to hypotension or low blood pressure. We should prevent spending so much time in steam rooms because it also leads to dehydration and low blood pressure.
  •  We should avoid prolonged Bed rest. We should use elastic support that covers the thigh and calf because they bound the blood circulation and keeps blood in the upper body.
  •  Most physicians say that don’t get up quickly after a very long sleep because it leads to low blood pressure.  Both Meditation and Yoga can prevent low Blood Pressure
  •  Proper medication is also necessary and important for low blood pressure patients. Many drugs prevent from low blood pressure. But mostly at extreme condition drugs are given to the low blood pressure patient by a physician
  • . Low blood pressure patients can be treated with fludrocortisone.  Fludrocortisone prevents from low blood pressure and promotes the quantity of sodium. One of the side effects of this drug is the loss of potassium. So when a patient of low blood pressure takes this drug it is important to take enough potassium.
